Singer, songwriter, and Christian preacher Bryan Andrew Wilson grew up in Danville, Illinois. He calls his music “spiritual soul” because it combines the passion of faith with the sound of R&B. Wilson began his career as a child gospel star. His fifth album, The One Percent, was released in 2014 by his own label Bryan’s Songs Records. The album was his breakthrough released upon the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart. The song, “Turning Away”, was released as a single promoting the album, and it charted on the Billboard Hot Gospel Singles chart.
